We stripped the roof and re-covered it in Russell Bute 3, an interlocking concrete tile made to look like traditional small plain tiles, so the new roof keeps a plain-tile look. It was set out with new breathable membrane and treated battens, then tiled and finished with a dry hip and dry ridge system and a dry valley between the slopes. The finished roof carries solar panels on one slope.
