The old felt roof on the dormer of this Beverley bungalow was leaking. As part of a full re-roof we renewed it in a liquid-applied system: a coating that cures into one continuous waterproof layer, with no seams or laps across the roof for water to find. The dormer itself was clad in anthracite with a matching fascia, and the main slopes were re-tiled in charcoal double pantiles. Photographed from our drone in June 2024.
For a roof you will walk on or want the longest rigid finish, GRP fibreglass is excellent. For a large, simple roof installed quickly with minimal joints, EPDM rubber is hard to beat. Felt remains a reliable, lower-cost option. We recommend based on your specific roof, not a one-size-fits-all answer.
