Fascias, Soffits & Guttering in Driffield
Driffield’s Victorian villas and terraces still carry timber fascias and soffits, and once the paint fails the boards rot fast behind the gutter. We strip and replace them with new uPVC rather than capping over decay, and reset the guttering with correct falls so it actually reaches the downpipe. On the estates around Kelleythorpe and the newer developments, the job is usually renewing tired plastic guttering and adding soffit ventilation to stop loft condensation, a common problem in well-insulated modern homes.

Roofline & Guttering in Driffield: local factors
Lockwood Street has semi-detached houses in brown brick with red brick dressings, bay windows and decorative cornices, and more well-to-do properties stand along Beverley Road. Brickwork like that sets the standard for roofline work: boards scribed to the existing line, gutters hung to a true fall, and downpipes routed clear of the dressings rather than fixed straight through them.
