Flat Roofing in Bridlington
Look along the Quay and Hilderthorpe and almost every guest house has a flat roof somewhere: a dormer squeezed into the attic, a kitchen extension at the back, a bay with a lead or felt top. Felt on this coast blisters in summer and splits in winter. We replace it with GRP fibreglass, which forms one seamless skin with no laps for the wind to find, or EPDM rubber on larger, simpler roofs, and we rebuild falls where years of ponding have sagged the deck.

Flat Roofing in Bridlington: local factors
The Local Plan supports purpose-built flats and townhouses in the town centre and seafront area, and flat-roofed elements are common on that kind of development: balconies, terraces, dormer tops and single-storey links. Three coverings are offered: GRP where the surface will be walked on, EPDM on larger plain decks, torch-on felt where parapets and upstands make the detailing awkward. Falls and outlet positions matter as much as the membrane.
