Flat Roofing in Hornsea
Seafront villas on Hornsea’s promenade were extended and altered over a century, and most carry flat roofs somewhere — dormers, bays and rear additions — while the bungalow estates inland add garages and porches. Felt does not last long facing the North Sea, so we replace it with GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber that resists salt and UV, laid with proper falls to clear standing water and finished with upstands and trims that onshore wind cannot lift.

Flat Roofing in Hornsea: local factors
Small industrial estates were built off Cliff Road in the late 1960s and on former railway land near Rolston Road in the 1980s. Where a unit like that carries a flat roof, the area dwarfs anything domestic: torch-on felt in bonded layers suits the spans and the detailing around plant, while EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass suit smaller decks over a garage or single-storey extension.
