Velux & Skylight Installation in Driffield
Roof windows suit two kinds of Driffield home: barn conversions and farmhouses in the Wolds villages, where a steep pantile slope over a big open loft cries out for daylight, and the estate houses where a loft conversion is cheaper than moving. We fit VELUX and equivalent windows into pantile, slate and concrete-tiled roofs, flashing each to the tile profile so it stays weathertight in Wolds wind, and we can fit conservation-style windows where a village setting calls for a lower profile.

Velux & Skylights in Driffield: local factors
Some permitted development rights are restricted in conservation areas, roof extensions among them, and Driffield has two. On a pantile slope the flashing kit also has to suit the profile of the tile, not the flat-profile version used on slate.
